Las Vegas always has something going on, but May is genuinely one of the best months for live entertainment this city has seen in a while. Whether you’re into comedy, classic rock, or a full-on immersive concert experience unlike anything else in the world, there is something on this list for you. Here are my personal picks for May.

No Doubt at The Sphere — May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, and 16. This is the one. No Doubt is making their first extended return to the stage in nearly 14 years, and they’re doing it at the Sphere. Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young, back together, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Tragic Kingdom, and doing it inside one of the most extraordinary venues ever built.

If you haven’t experienced the Sphere yet, this is the show to do it with. And if you just want a general introduction to what the Sphere is all about before committing to a full concert ticket, the Postcard experience is a great way to feel the venue out first.

Nikki Glaser and David Spade at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace — May 22-23. Two of the sharpest comedians working today are sharing the same stage. Nikki Glaser has been on an absolute tear lately, and David Spade has been doing this for decades without ever getting less funny. If you love sharp, smart comedy, this one is not to be missed.

Jerry Seinfeld at Caesars Palace. One of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time, still doing what he does better than almost anyone. Seinfeld at the Colosseum is a special show, and if you haven’t seen him live, this is your window.

“The lineup this May is the kind of month that reminds you why people move to Las Vegas in the first place.”

Rod Stewart at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace — May 27-30. Rod Stewart is wrapping up the May leg of his Encore Shows residency at the end of the month, and it is an incredible show. Just watch out for any soccer balls. Seriously, though, if you haven’t caught him live, this is the kind of show that reminds you why a live Vegas residency is something you can’t replicate anywhere else.

Carrot Top on the Strip. One of my personal favorites and a Vegas institution. The prop comedy, the dog content, all of it. Just leave the kids at home on this one. Carrot Top puts on an energy-packed show that never gets old.

Shark After Dark — May 7 and 21 at Taverna Costera, Downtown Las Vegas. If you want something a little more off the beaten path, Shark After Dark brings an open mic and full comedy show experience to the rooftop at Taverna Costera in downtown Las Vegas on the 7th and the 21st. It’s a different energy from the big Strip venues and well worth checking out. Grab your tickets here: https://posh.vip/e/shark-after-dark-rooftop-comedy-3

May in Las Vegas is a great time to get out and enjoy what makes this city one of the world’s entertainment capitals.

And if you want a chance to see some of these shows for free, come out to one of my Saturday open houses. Every week, I draw a winner for tickets to an upcoming show. It’s one of my favorite ways to connect with people and give back to this community. All you have to do is show up.
